1. Prep the Nails—

As the first step to this guide, this step holds the utmost importance in determining how the nails and feet would look after the complete procedure. Not cutting the nails too short is recommended, but leaving them too long can become the cause of hurting your own feet. Select the shape of your nails as per your choice and give the nails a smooth curve all around. Using the nail paint remover and getting rid of all traces of old nail polish is also recommended in this step. Use the cotton pad and dab some of the remover solutions on it and then rub it gently on the nails, in case, the paint is hardened, put some of the solutions on the pads and stick them on the nails for a while, the paint will ultimately come off.

2. Soak the Feet—

This relaxing step helps to eradicate all the dirt and dead skin cells from the feet and around the nails to make them look clean and shiny. Soak your feet in warm water for 15 to 20 minutes with added bath salt or mild shampoo. Using lemon in the water is also recommended as it gets rid of the smell and provides a fresher feeling. Flowers and essential oils can also be added to contribute to the relaxing mood.

3. Scrub—

Apply a small amount of cuticle cream on the base of your toenails and let it soften the skin. After waiting about a minute, scrub your feet and the skin around the nails, between the fingers using a soft exfoliating cream and then use a pumice stone to rid your skin of dead cells. Not hurting yourself by being too rough on the sensitive skin is important and being firm is necessary to get rid of the hardened dead surfaces that can cause cracks and later, infections.

4. Push back Cuticles—

Immediately after the scrub, gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher. Not cutting your cuticles is recommended and is extremely gentle on the now soft skin is required. To avoid infections around the nails, cleaning is necessary, but extra care is to be imparted to this step to avoid hurting oneself.

5. Moisturise—

This step cannot be stressed enough. Use a scented moisturizer to retain the fresh feeling but also take care not to use a too oily cream to moisturize as it can cause accidents. To rejuvenate the skin on your feet and nails, the use of a hydrating moisturizer is recommended, and you can also use a nail cream to strengthen the nails in case they are fragile and prone to breaking.

6. Nail Paint—

Choose a suitable color, preferably bright ones, for your feet and put on a thin base coat, followed by the top layer and finish it off with a bright polish to make the paint last longer. Some prefer only clear polish to put on their nails, but one has to paint them to protect them from breaking off and looking unhealthy. The nail paint coating works as a protecting device from water as well, as it does not let water in contact with the nail.

Various other steps can be added to this routine but adhering to these basics to get a Free online Tips pedicure at Home is sure to yield the desired results of smooth, clean and glowing feet. Focusing all the resources on face and hair, the well-being of the nails are often forgotten and to remedy that situation, DIY manicure regimens are widely available with intricate details which help procure the steps of a manicure at home easily. A simple process that does not take much time and is affordable is the much sought after one. For beginners, below listed are the steps and ingredient and instruments required for a DIY manicure.
How to do a Professional Manicure
Things Required:

Setting out with all the required types of equipment and ingredients is the right way to begin the process. The essential products required for a manicure at home are...

• Nail buffer,
• Nail trimmers,
• Cuticle trimmers,
• Cotton balls,
• Paint remover,
• Nail file,
• Good quality nail paint,
• Hand cream,
• Base coat and
• Top coat.

After you have gathered all the necessary tools for this task, follow the 10 step procedure to get clean and healthy nails.

Steps to get the Perfect Manicure at Home:

It is essential to place the tools on a flat surface and remove all things and be careful to avoid spills and smudges, as nail paint can spoil fabric and wood finish alike. Remove all hand accessories and use a scrap paper as the base of the surface, also be extra careful of not spoiling your clothes.

1. Remove Nail Paint —

Using a non-acetone paint remover and cotton pads, you can remove all traces of the old nail paint gently. Putting the remover solution on the cotton ball, apply it to the nails. In case, the paint is rigid on the nails, place the cotton balls on the nails for a while to remove the paint. Non-acetone removers will help to not dry out the skin around the nails and are convenient to use.

2. Clip and File Nails —

To trim the nails, use the nail trimmer but make sure that you do not clip and file them too short to style later. A straight or cone shape are the classics, but you are free to experiment with the shape of your nails as per your convenience. Knowing the correct way to file your nails can determine the beauty of your hands. Thus, extra care is to be indulged on this task. Creating smooth curves from all angles and refraining from breaking the nails is essential. Use a nail buffer to give them a smoother surface, but do not buff them too hard as it can weaken the nails.

3. Soak your Nails —

Soak your nails in a bowl of warm water with an added mild cleanser to rid them of dirt and dead skin. This step cleans the surface and softens the cuticles to ensure a smooth application. For fragile nails, this step is to be avoided, rinse them off in such situations. You can use this step to exfoliate your hands and the corner of your nails to give it a cleaner look.

4. Shaping Cuticles –

Pushing back the cuticles are a sensitive task. Be careful not to make them vulnerable. Messaging some cuticle cream before prepping them can help. Pushing back gently is recommended as applying to much pressure can damage the nails.

5.Hand Moisturizer –

This step ensures that the skin around the nails is adequately moisturized and helps avoid smudges later on. Use a great cream to give your hand a message and relax, focusing mainly on the skin around your nails and fingers.

6. Apply Base Coat and Nail Paint –

Applying the base coat makes the nail paint long lasting as it gives it something to adhere to and also provides a cleaner finish of the application with almost no spill-over and smudges on the skin. As for applying the nail paint, choose a good quality nail paint of your preferred color or even mix up two colors to create an exciting look and apply them carefully in one swift brush stroke at a uniform direction. A thin base coat followed by a top coat is finished off with a clear polish application to complete the look. But before you apply one layer atop the other, make sure the previous layer is dried up.

7. Moisturize –

In case of extremely dry hands, moisturizing frequently leads to healthy nails and skin. After finishing up the process, a thin layer of moisturizer can be applied to rid the smell of the chemicals and to keep the nails in good condition.

Following these necessary steps to achieve a healthy look for your nails are helpful, but you can add more levels as per your requirements. The central goal is to keep your nails clean and healthy, and this process of a manicure at home does cater to that need apply. Repeat the steps twice a month to have impeccable skin and nails.

Causes:-

Hives are very common anyone can have them. Any allergen can trigger hives. Commonly these things trigger an allergic reaction in the body so it's better to be aware of them.

Treatment: -

The treatment for urticaria is by medication of antihistamine. Other treatments block other parts of the histamine system, using steroids or immunosuppressive drugs and to diminish the chemicals released by the mast cells. Other medication includes the application of calamine lotion, intake of diphenhydramine, such as Benadryl.

Here are some remedies which you can follow:

1. Apply cool compresses or wet cloths to the affected areas.
2. Try to work and sleep in a cool room.
3. Wear loose-fitting lightweight clothes.
4. Bathing in an anti-itching solution, can soothe skin and reduce irritation.
5. Apply Aloe vera to the affected area. It has some healing properties, that may give some relief.

How to manage hives?

When Hives are in the initial stage and less in number and swelling is less, you may not need treatment. The icing on the skin relieves itching by placing cool cloths on the hives, or by taking cool showers.

Some people have a bad allergic reaction, as breathing problems talk to good skin doctor about an “auto-injector.” which stops the allergic reaction when it is injected into your thigh. Auto-injectors are spring-loaded syringes.
So take care before this affects you severely.

Vitamin D is an essential nutrient for one’s health and well being. It’s a bunch of fat-soluble secosteroids which helps the body enhancing intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate. Like other vitamins or minerals, we get vitamin D only from dairy products and no other source. So mostly its either prepared by our body or when we expose to sunlight. Hence, sunlight is the direct source of vitamin d and that’s why it’s called Sunshine Vitamin.

Vitamin D is of two types:

1. D2 – known as Ergocalciferol which we get from fortified foods, plant foods, and supplements.
2. D3 – known as Cholecalciferol, we get again from fortified foods, nonveg sources like fish, eggs, liver. Internally produced when our body is exposed to sunlight.

How Much Body Gets The Vitamin D from Sunlight?

The UV rays in the sunlight are responsible for converting Cholesterol in our skin into Vitamin D. All you need to do is to sit under the sun before 9 am in the morning as our skin needs are some exposure to sunlight.

Deficiencies In Vitamin D:

It’s been estimated that in the world around 1 billion people are deficient of Vitamin D in their blood. A person with dark skin or a person who is obese or overweight tends to be deficient of Vitamin D. You can get the Vitamin D test done very easily, its just that you need to go for a blood test. It’s prominent to know about the optimal levels and deficient levels.

Why Vitamin D Is Caused?

Of course, less amount of vitamin d in the body is responsible which causes vitamin d deficiency. Major deficiencies are listed below:

1. Very Limited Exposure To Sunlight: As already discussed, sunlight is a major source for vitamin d. People who are just inside their homes or offices (indoors) get no sunlight. Sometimes, sunscreen helps to give you UV exposure, but you need to consult a Dermatologist before you start any sunscreen as everybody’s skin is different.

2. Inadequate Consumption Of Vitamin D: People who are vegans are deficient of Vitamin D. Definitely, the natural foods would not make sufficiency of Vitamin D in our body but yes there would be an improvement but need to expose to sunlight for better results.

3. Obesity: A study was done on a person who is overweight or obese and it resulted that those with high BMI i.e. above 40 would definitely be deficient of vitamin d. This is due to vitamin d gets extracted from the blood by fat cells.

4. Mal Absorption:  Certain people suffer from this syndrome. This just means that their digestive tract cannot absorb vitamin d.

Diseases Caused Due To Vitamin D Deficiency:

1. Osteomalacia: Extreme severe deficiency of vitamin d could be called as Osteomalacia too. Characterized by bowing of legs, softening of bones, muscle weakness, increased risk of fractures, leading to bending of spines. People who are suffering from Osteomalacia have difficulty walking or climbing stairs or couldn’t get up properly from the floor.

2. Cardiovascular Disease:  Deficiency of vitamin d is associated with congestive heart failure. Women with low levels had a 67% increased risk of developing hypertension, research was done at Harvard University.

3. Psoriasis: Deficiency of vitamin d is associated with a high risk of Psoriasis.

Treatment of Vitamin D Deficiency:

The deficiency shouldn’t be taken lightly as it leads to several health issues. Get enough sunlight or could be taken in the form of supplements which should be prescribed from your Physician.

1. Get Good Sunlight:  Exposure to sunlight is a natural way of treating the deficiency. It’s naturally produced by our bodies on exposure to sunlight. So better to get exposure to sunlight as its cost effective also.

2. Consume Foods Containing Vitamin D: Vitamin d is not found in foods like other vitamins but there are few foods which contain vitamin d in little amounts like

• Oily fish like sardines, tuna, salmon and herring
• Fortified foods with added vitamin d like margarine, infant formula milk
• Dairy products and eggs

3. Injection: An injection of vitamin d lasts for some 6 months, it’s safe to use. To the ones who have very very low levels of Vitamin D they can go for injections but only if their Physician recommends.

4. Supplements: Supplements in the form of liquids or tablets are easily available and depending on your levels this could be taken daily, weekly or monthly. However, it’s always advisable to consult your Physician after getting the tests done and so you can follow the instructions properly.
